If you are interested in a farm pick-up, please email us at smallspadegardening@gmail.com and we will make arrangements for you!
Delivery day will be Monday, we will deliver your share to your doorstep at some point during the day. If you live in a condo or apartment building, we will need to leave your share in the lobby, as we cannot come up to your unit - please arrange to leave a cooler out in the lobby for us to leave your share in. We absolutely cannot pinpoint delivery times as Toronto traffic is unpredictable.
NB: We are a small farm located 3 hours away from Toronto - it’s a long drive in to deliver to you all, and we have lots of deliveries to get through during the course of the day. It is your responsibility to leave us a cooler or tote out for us to drop your share in. If you forget, we will try to tuck your food away somewhere on your porch or lobby - but it may freeze or get stolen. We cannot wait for you to get home, and we cannot call you to remind you to leave out your cooler.
NB: Crop planning for a CSA is a delicate and complex balance, and our vegetables are sown and grown to mature at an intended time - so we can harvest them at peak freshness for you, every single week. Because of this, we unfortunately cannot accommodate requests to pause, double up or refund your share if you will be away on vacation during one of the weeks of the CSA. The vegetables keep growing whether we are there to harvest them or not - this is also why we run our CSA session in shorter 8 week bursts, instead of the typical 5-6 month CSA share model. This way, you can dip out if you need to for a session. If you will be away for more than a week, our suggestion is to allow us to donate your share to a shelter or local organization - if this is something you are comfortable doing.
Our delivery service covers Jane street to Victoria Park, and King street to St. Clair. If you live outside this area, please contact us before placing an order and we may be able to accommodate you.
Thanks for supporting your small, local and sustainable farm! We appreciate your business, especially in these difficult times.
